Consumer Rights Notice (CROA)
The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) requires us to tell you certain things in writing before you pay. Read this carefully — these are your rights.
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information yourself — for free
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA Section 611), you can dispute inaccurate or unverifiable items directly with Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion at no cost. LumaCredit AI is a tool that helps you do this; you do not need a paid service to exercise these rights.
We cannot guarantee any specific outcome
No credit repair organization can lawfully promise a specific score increase, item removal, or "100% guarantee." Beware of any company that does. Outcomes depend on whether information is actually inaccurate, the bureau's investigation, and your furnishers.
You have a right to cancel within 3 business days
You can cancel your subscription within 3 business days of signup with no further obligation and receive a full refund. After that window, paid plans remain refundable through the end of the current billing period if cancelled before renewal.
No upfront fees for promised future services
CROA prohibits charging for credit repair services before they are performed. Our subscription model charges for ongoing access to the tool, not for a promised outcome. You receive immediate value (analysis, chat, letters) on day one.
You can sue if we violate CROA
CROA gives you the right to sue if we violate the Act. Contracts may not contain waivers of these rights, and any attempt to waive them is void.
Accurate information cannot be removed
Accurate, current, and verifiable negative information will remain on your credit report for 7 years (10 for Chapter 7 bankruptcy). No service can legally remove accurate information.
Contact for complaints
You can file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov/complaint, or your state attorney general.
